Beauty That Starts Deeper Concert Series
When I joined the team, the plan was already in motion. But, my production experience helped make it all happen. In sum, my first project was to throw three of the greatest parties ever during homecoming weekend at three Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs.) Talk about a way to begin.

As our featured talent, Elle Varner, embodied the target audience and became the muse for celebrity stylist, Oscar James. We also transformed each nightclub into the hottest branded venue of the weekend, featuring custom swag, crafted cocktails and gift bags with trial-sized product.


Strong Hair, Beautiful Style Red Carpet Giveaway
Coming off the success of the concert series, we were tasked with continuing the partnership through Grammy weekend. My team decided to give Elle’s fans a chance to weigh in on how her gorgeous hair should be styled during the various events leading up to the biggest night of her career.

We teamed back up with Oscar James and enlisted wardrobe stylist, Billy Causieestko, to curate four looks for four industry events during Grammy weekend. Each look elevated Elle’s vibrant style and Oscar created two hairstyles based on attributes of each outfit.

Each week, fans reviewed Elle’s outfit for an event and voted for the hairstyle they thought worked best. Each vote also entered them for a chance to win an accessory from her final, red carpet look at the Grammy’s.

Elle ended up rocking the “sleek and chic” style chosen by her fans. And while she didn’t win the Grammy for Best New Artist, Clear Ultra Shea definitely came out a winner.
